The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.

-Marcel Proust

I’ve always been drawn to this idea, that discovery isn’t always about finding something new, but about learning to look at something differently. It’s a perspective that continues to anchor how I approach my work.

As a kid, I was obsessed with the idea of being Totto-Chan, wanting to become something new every day, exploring everything. In a way, design lets me do exactly that, constantly stepping into different people’s worlds and seeing things from their perspective.

What interests me most are the systems people rely on every day but rarely think about, the workflows, tools, and processes that quietly shape how work gets done. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on enterprise products, AI-assisted tools, and internal platforms where the challenge isn’t just designing an interface, but understanding how people actually navigate complex systems.

A lot of my work begins with stepping back and asking a simple question: what is the real problem here? Because often the hardest part of design isn’t solving a problem, it’s framing it well enough to see it clearly.

Notes From Things I Was Thinking About

I don’t write very often, but sometimes I come across something that stays with me, a question, a pattern, or just something I’m trying to understand better.

Calm to My Chaos
